Staple Capital’s Brandi Kolowski on Tokenizing Energy, Fixing Broken Systems & Launching BigWatt

Description: Discover how Brandi Kolowski, founder of Staple Capital, is bridging traditional finance and Web3. From tokenized energy and private jets to flair gas mining and data centers – a bold vision shared at the Gamma Prime Summit.

Introduction: At the Gamma Prime Tokenization Summit 2025, we caught up with Brandi Kolowski, founder of Staple Capital and Staple Fund. With roots in both traditional finance and DeFi, she’s focused on solving real-world problems.

In this short but sharp conversation, Brandi talks about tokenizing energy, innovating with flair gas, and her standout investment — BigWatt Digital.

Interview:

Korath (Gamma Prime): We’re live at the Gamma Prime Tokenization Summit with Brandi Kolowski, one of our featured speakers. Brandi, what inspired you to join us today?

Brandi Kolowski (Staple Capital): Korath introduced me to Gamma Prime and I became a fan right away. I wanted to bring my network from both traditional finance and DeFi — venture capital and private equity — into this space. I’m also launching my own firm and fund: Staple Capital and Staple Fund.

Korath (Gamma Prime): Amazing. You’ve got a powerful vision and a lot going on. What’s Staple’s core focus?

Brandi Kolowski (Staple Capital): Our slogan is “repairing antiquated systems.” We have four pillars: mobility — like private jets and jet fuel; consumer health — organic food and precision agriculture; infrastructure and finance; and lastly, power, data centers, and Bitcoin mining. We invest in companies solving real-world inefficiencies.

Korath (Gamma Prime): Fascinating. What’s one standout deal you’re excited about?

Brandi Kolowski (Staple Capital): BigWatt Digital. They started as a Bitcoin mining operation and locked in the largest power purchase agreement in South Dakota. Since then, they’ve expanded into data centers and partnered with Marathon Digital. Their team even acquired 2,200 acres of oil and gas land in Texas — connecting back to my early career: using flair gas to power crypto mining.

Korath (Gamma Prime): You’ve been one of the first innovators in that — using flair gas for mining.

Brandi Kolowski (Staple Capital): Yeah, I’ve got the battle wounds to prove it.

Korath (Gamma Prime): What are you seeing at the summit that stands out?

Brandi Kolowski (Staple Capital): Everyone is trying to figure out how to tokenize the energy sector and keep it U.S.-based for now. But my view is global. I want to heal systems everywhere — not just the U.S.

Korath (Gamma Prime): Well said. We’re grateful to have you on stage. Thanks for sharing your work.

Brandi Kolowski (Staple Capital): I appreciate the invite. It’s been an honor.

Conclusion: Brandi Kolowski’s mission to repair outdated infrastructure through crypto, capital, and community is more than a pitch — it’s a strategy. From data centers to decentralized energy and beyond, Staple Capital is shaping what real-world utility can look like in Web3.
